Discovery
I begin every project by asking lots of whats and whys. I allocate ample time to learn about your idea, your vision, market insights, project details and most importantly, your target users. This helps me fully understand the project requirements.

Research
Once the scope has been established, I'll research competitors and draw from other sources to gain insights into the problem space and learn best practices in the field.

Wireframes (UX focused)
This phase is all about getting the layouts, navigations and information architecture right. I’ll lay out each flow and present solution explorations for complex problems using mid-high fidelity wireframes.

Style Setting
Once the UX has been approved, we will proceed to setting the style (including typography, colour palette, iconography, etc.) with the aid of mood boards. I will make sure that the product adheres to any existing branding guidelines.

Final Design (UI focused)
Having laid the groundwork, I will deliver a set of high-fidelity, pixel perfect UI designs that are both user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing. This will create a great first impression when the product is released to the market.

Design Handoff
Upon UI Design approval, a customised, scalable design system with documentation for your product will be delivered. I will be readily available to answer any questions you may have during the development phase, to ensure that the design file is used correctly.

I adopt human-centred design approach and keep myself up to date with the latest UX best practices. I create intuitive and effective products that are easy to use and provide an enjoyable user experience.

One of my guiding philosophies is that a design won’t make an impact until it's coded and made available to its users, no matter how visually appealing or user-friendly the design may be. This is where my IT background comes in handy, as I understand the development constraints and can prioritise visuals and components that will get the most value out of the time and resources spent.
